When your third-party software system fails to deliver its promised features, an important deadline is fast approaching, and your IT department is juggling other critical tasks, how would you react? Norma Allen, Vice President of Human Resources of Collin College, turned to Caspio and built an alternative application by herself, overnight.
At 2 o’clock in the morning, Allen signed up for a Caspio trial account and created the core functionalities of a faculty credential system within the same day. She designed a multi-user application for the HR department to manage all the faculty credentials and transcript information in a centralized, searchable database.
Even without a technical background, Allen was able to create and deploy the online database application within two weeks, saving Collin College over $100,000 in software costs while also meeting the college’s 10-year accreditation review deadline.
Here is a video highlighting the various HR applications that Allen built herself without coding:
By replacing complicated third-party software with Caspio-powered applications, Collin College saved valuable time, money and IT resources, while remaining entirely secure and compliant. The applications are built on Caspio’s Compliance Edition in order to meet strict security, privacy, and regulatory requirements of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
