Hello. My name is Christopher Carlson. I’m an application administrator and developer for Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores. We are a national retailer, providing goods and services all over the country.
My position includes creating applications for the company.
Before we found Caspio, some of the challenges that we encountered include creating applications quickly as well as creating custom applications for very specific processes across the company.
I chose Caspio over the alternative solutions because it was very seamless and easy to understand.
Today, we’re using the Caspio platform to fulfill and satisfy business requirements as they’re ever-changing in the world of retail. With Caspio, we can quickly adopt new operational processes and applications.
After finding Caspio and building a few applications for my internal department, I created several applications across the company to support overall operations and business processes. This includes inventory, management, the reconciliation of data, recording and supporting several processes.
Our company recognized the Caspio platform as a proper IT department solution and is widely used in running the business today.
Our organization partners with Make-a-Wish to fulfill a child’s wish. When the local Make-a-Wish chapter reaches out to us to request in-kind donation, we utilize Caspio to fulfill those wishes.
Caspio has allowed us to grant Make-a-Wish wishes in a much quicker fashion. The ability to instantly approve, route and process those wishes has dramatically decreased the time to fulfill them.
Caspio helped my career by allowing me to see how business problems can be solved through the development of applications. It propelled my career and my interest into the field of information technology.
