Customers can now choose to host their data and applications on data centers located in North America, Europe (UK and Ireland), Australia or South America, all of which are operated on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Caspio’s cloud database platform is a popular choice for businesses to create their own custom web applications without coding. Not only does Caspio’s intuitive point-and-click technology eliminate coding, the “embed-anywhere” application deployment and one-click localization make the platform universally friendly to businesses of all sizes, industries and countries.
Companies in Europe and Australia face unique challenges operating under government mandates that require sensitive data to remain within the region. With today’s announcement, more customers in these areas can address government-regulated data privacy compliances by taking advantage of Caspio’s Global Sites.
In 2012, Caspio migrated its data center operation from a traditional colocation facility to Amazon Web Services. The migration to AWS reflects Caspio’s commitment to stay on the leading edge of cloud advancements in order to bring the best in cloud scalability, efficiency and performance to its growing customer base. When Amazon opened its first Australian data center in November, Caspio immediately took steps to launch Global Sites as a standard capability available to customers at no additional cost.
