AutoValues for Tracking User IP Addresses and URLs

Step-by-Step

1. Open up the Web Form DataPage you wish to assign AutoValues to and proceed to the Configure Fields screen.

2. Highlight the desired DataPage Element and select AutoValue from the Form element dropdown menu.

3. Next, select your desired AutoValue Type. For TEXT fields, there are four Auto-Value options: Random Unique ID, Random Password, User IP Address, and DataPage Host. For Number fields, you have the option to choose from Random Number and Random Unique ID. Once you've selected an AutoValue Type, you will be able to further configure the AutoValue.

User IP Address

User IP Address records the IP address of your end users upon data submission.

DataPage Host

DataPage Host lets you record the Complete URL including parameters, Page URL, or Domain name to track the URL location of your DataPage usage. This option is especially useful for DataPages with multiple deployments.
