Read the documentation.Caspio Bridge 6.5 introduces new data import and deployment capabilities, plus additional customization functionality for your applications. These features include several streamlined wizards, smart AutoValues, productivity and performance enhancements, and Caspio's groundbreaking new Search-Engine Optimized (SEO) deployment technology.
The new Table Import/Export Wizard not only has a more intuitive interface, but also combines many important options for adjusting tables, fields and data during the import process.
The Import Wizard has smarter handling of various data types, field mapping for replace/append, and immediate alerts to pinpoint any issues prior to import.
The redesigned Import Wizard is also optimized for faster upload and processing. For improved productivity, the time consuming process of inserting uploaded data into your tables now occurs in the background so you can move on to other activities. Upon completion, the new alert system notifies you when the data is ready for use.

Version 6.5 supports more file formats for increased compatibility with common data formats and desktop programs. New supported formats include Microsoft Excel Workbooks, Fixed Width Text, and Custom XML for XML-structured data. Now you can upload data from a single Excel Workbook and Caspio automatically converts each worksheet into a new database table. Your Caspio Bridge tables can also be exported as multiple worksheets within the same Excel file.
Increase traffic and visibility to your website with the new Server-Side (SEO) Deployment method! Previously, it was nearly impossible for search engines to recognize, crawl and index database-driven pages.
Caspio's innovative SEO deployment model allows search engine crawlers to see the data and attribute it to your site, giving you the ability to generate organic traffic to your data.
Another exciting new feature is the ability to edit data through a View. Now you can select any single Table of View and make it editable. When the View is used in DataPages such as Web Forms, Details Pages and Update Forms, the fields of that table can be used for data input and updates. Similarly, the fields of the designated table can be edited via Views Datasheet and Web Services APIs.
Using the new Views capabilities, creating complex apps becomes significantly easier and requires fewer DataPages. Note that existing Views must be edited via the new Views Wizard to activate one of its tables as editable.
The new AutoValue feature in the DataPage wizard enables your app to generate and assign frequently-used values randomly.
Automatically-generated AutoValues include Random Unique IDs, Random Passwords and Random Numbers, each with various options to help you customize it for your needs.
The new AutoValue feature can also capture some environmental values and store it in your table.
It is now possible to record the IP Address of your DataPage user for tracking or auditing purposes. You can also record the DataPage Host to track the page URL or domain name where the DataPage is accessed. This option is especially useful for DataPages with multiple deployments.

The Caspio Bridge Plug-in for Microsoft Office now dynamically resolves the server address of your account. It is also equipped with the option to check for updates to ensure that you always have the latest version.
Caspio's new Alerts system keeps you informed with real-time notifications about account activities such as import/export status and details, system updates, and other account-related information. Located in the upper right corner of Caspio Bridge, the alert indicator turns green whenever you have new alerts to read.
Alerts also allow you to download data generated from background export processes. All account users have privileged-based access to Alerts as convenient way to track past activities and important account information.
Enterprise and Reseller accounts also have the ability to send customized notifications to their individual sub-accounts and users via the Alerts interface.

The maximum allowed text size for long TEXT fields is increased from 4,000 to 64,000 characters. In addition, TEXT fields from all imported files (including CSV) now automatically default to TEXT(255) during import for optimal DataPage performance.
DataPage Properties provides a 360 degree view of DataPage information and application settings. This new screen provides an efficient reference to quickly see all associations with a DataPage, such as data source, lookups, access controls, and host page URLs where the DataPage is deployed.
It is now possible to reset the value of your AutoNumber fields in an existing Table. Under the Edit menu in Table Datasheet, you can reset new AutoNumber values for existing or new records, and even apply a new custom starting value.
For multi-user accounts, DataPage Privileges helps you manage fine-grain control of DataPage access across multiple administrative users. Authorized administrators can assign editing permissions to a DataPage and then easily apply the same privilege setting to other DataPages in one step.
You can now use parameters to customize the text displayed in the download link of File fields on search results and details pages. Create dynamic and personalized links for better usability. With parameters enabled, easily select and insert any field as part of the hyperlink to the file.
For more efficient tracking and classification of data downloaded from search results, Data Download files can be configured with a customized file name, which can also include the date of the download.
The new "Does Not Contain" comparison type helps you filter out unwanted records by using negative keywords in searches and pre-defined criteria.

Advanced DATE/TIME precision is now available for more comparison criteria:
You can configure precise "greater/less than" searches based on date, date and time, month and year, or just the year.
Block unwanted traffic to your DataPages and Web Service Profiles. You can deny access to specific IP addresses or IP ranges, or exclusively grant access to one or more IP address while blocking all others. IP Blocking has been moved from the DataPage Privileges screen to the Deploy dialog under the Filters button for easier access. For Web Services Profile Properties, the option is within the properties dialog of the Profile.

The calendar interface for Date fields has been optimized to display as an overlay directly beside the field for improved usability.
In addition to the standard embedded methods, Dot NET embedded deployment is provided to support easy DataPage deployment within Dot Net apps and systems such as Microsoft SharePoint and websites that are in ASPX.

A number of significant steps have been taken to optimize your apps for faster performance even when the number of records exceeds a million. These improvements are mostly behind-the-scenes and proprietary in nature.
One enhancement we are excited about is the automatic smart indexing of your large tables. Caspio Bridge discovers how your tables are being utilized and applies appropriate indexes on them for optimal performance.
