DataPages are the web application components you create in Caspio Bridge and deploy to your website. They are application interfaces.
Examples of a single DataPage:
DataPages are created with Caspio's step-by-step wizards and deployed on your site by inserting a code segment into your web page. The apps are served by Caspio, but appear seamlessly integrated with the content and navigation of your web pages.
All Caspio accounts include a robust web database with ample storage for your database records, files and applications. This space is measured in megabytes (MB) or gigabytes (GB).
Customers can upgrade to a bigger package, or attain extra storage space by creating a custom package at any time. You can monitor your storage utilization by selecting "Usage Statistics" from the "Options" menu in your Caspio Bridge account. See how >>
Whenever a web user submits or retrieves data through your web form or application, data is transferred between Caspio servers and the user’s computer. Each Caspio Bridge account includes monthly data transfer allocation for this ongoing usage. If necessary, you can easily upgrade your package or buy extra data transfer by creating a custom package.
Data transfer usually becomes a strong consideration for accounts that have substantial file and image uploads and downloads. You can monitor your data transfer utilization by selecting "Usage Statistics" from the "Options" menu in your Caspio Bridge account. See how >>
For most users, storage and data transfer are not an issue. Instead they should consider the number of applications or DataPages that they need. Think about all the screens your app will need for all of its user groups. Include public users, internal staff, and account administrators. Add everything up and select the package that provides the corresponding number of DataPages.
To help you estimate your storage or data transfer needs, use this example of a typical record. Along with the example of the typical record, we have included the method we used to make our calculation.
If a paying account goes over its package limits, the DataPages will still be fully operational, but account overage fees will apply for that billing cycle. At any time, you can upgrade or create a custom package to fit your usage.
To avoid overage fees, keep an eye on your account usage during the first few months. You can do this by selecting "Usage Statistics" from the "Options" menu in your Caspio Bridge account. See how >>
