Free knowledge base includes the following features:
- Searchable database of all company information, resources, and
documents
- Step-by-step wizards make it easy to change or add fields such
as departments, categories, attachments, comments, etc.
- User comments and ratings help you improve articles and keep
information up-to-date
- System supports unlimited users, contributors, and
administrators
- Deploy to a private area of your corporate intranet, or embed
apps directly in your existing site

Multi-user application features:
- User-level permissions are automatic based on authentication:
- Users can view and comment on articles (but
not create articles)
- Contributors can create articles and view
comments on their own articles
- Administrators can edit and publish any
article, add internal notes, or reject articles for the contributor
to make changes
- Upon login, administrators automatically see additional reports
in the left-hand navigation:
- All pending articles awaiting approval
- Search and download of all user comments
- Charts showing the top 5 articles, top 5
authors, and article totals by category and status
- User management to add or edit users, grant
privileges, and disable access
Customize further to fit your needs:
- Add a registration form for new users to access the system
(with admin approval)
- Add email alerts to notify contributors and administrators
whenever an article status is changed
- Add additional workflow to manage priority, communication logs,
department-level privileges, or other internal processes
- Integrate with other Caspio-powered apps such as HR forms,
tasks, and IT requests
